The device can connect up to 30 miles from the shore. Connectivity will depend on the network available in the area.

It requires no installation, cables, or software. To use pocket wifi:
Step 1: Turn on the device. Push the power button for 3-5 seconds.
Step 2: Open your mobile phone and Turn on the "Wifi"
Step 3: Connect to the Pocket wifi. Enter the Password attached to the device
Step 4: You can now enjoy using the internet

eSIM Download and Activation Instructions:
1- Make sure that your phone is connected to the internet with a stable WiFi connection.
2- Download the eSIM profile: iOS devices: Open your camera app as if you are going to take a picture and point it to the QR code above
Android and other OS: Go to the Cellular/Mobile network settings of your eSIM capable device and follow the instructions to Add Cellular Plan / Add Mobile Network.
Smartwatches and other wearables: Please refer to manufacturer instructions
3- Assign Cellular / Mobile Data access to your eSIM.
4- Enable Data Roaming
5- Disconnect WiFi and allow the eSIM a few minutes to set itself up correctly according to the country you are in
******************************************* Troubleshooting and additional Information
If your eSIM is not connecting to a network, please ensure that Cellular/Mobile Data is assigned to your eSIM and Data Roaming is turned ON. Switch off any WiFi or other internet connection your phone may be using and wait for a few minutes for the eSIM to connect. If you are connected a network but data connection is not working as expected, please check if APN is mentioned in your eSIM profile information. If yes, please set the correct APN for your eSIM. Toggle Airplane mode ON and OFF and check the connection again.
You can track your data usage details directly from your phone settings. For iOS: Go to Settings->Cellular and scroll down. For Android and other OS: Go to Settings-> Network & Internet and view your eSIM details. Please refer to your device manual for exact instructions. If you finish your package and need more data, simply buy any package of your choice and repeat the activation steps.
Note: While principles of eSIM activation remain the same, installation flows may vary slightly from one phone to another. Please refer to the online support of your smartphone manufacturer for an exact step by step tutorial.

Yes, you can install your eSIM before arriving in that country and activate your data package once you've arrived. Even if your device attempts to activate your package and connect to a network during the installation flow, it will not be successful until you're in the correct country/region.
